Strawberries are one of the favorite fruits of all ages. Discover our gourmet and refreshing dessert perfectly seasonal with delicious strawberries: a strawberry carpaccio and its sweet basil-mint pesto. Basil mint is an exquisite mint with a basil scent. This aromatic plant goes perfectly with strawberries.

Strawberry carpaccio and its sweet basil-mint pesto

To make this recipe you will need the following ingredients: 1 bunch of basil mint (about 10 stalks) – 2 or 3 sprigs of lemon balm – the juice of half an organic lemon and the zest – 35 ml almond oil – a generous tablespoon of ground almonds – 2 teaspoons cane sugar – 250 grams of strawberries.

  • Wash the basil mint and lemon balm. Then let them dry well before using them.
  • Wash and peel the strawberries. Wipe them clean and cut them into thin slices to make a carpaccio. Then carefully spread out the strawberry slices on a plate.
  • To make the sweet pesto: place the remaining ingredients in a blender (the basil mint, the lemon balm, the juice of half an organic lemon and the zest, 35 ml almond oil, a generous tablespoon of ground almond and 2 teaspoons cane sugar). Blend until you get a pesto-like texture. A little advice, to prevent the leaves from turning brown, do not mix too long 😊
  • Then pour your sweet pesto over your strawberry carpaccio.

To enjoy immediately or to keep cool. Tastes good !
